Ya know what. If a zoo is where you find them, go for it! Beautiful shot. I have a nephew into photography and my brother took him and his wife on a photo safari to Africa for three weeks. Not counting air fare it cost him $65K. I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't afford that but local zoo I can afford!

Wildlife is wildlife, whether free or captive. The goal is to get a good composition regardless of where one finds the critters.
