Thanks for the feedback KenC. I tried the cropped version previously as well. But i just preferred this one.

I'm not sure what your focus is--the skyline or the city buildings? I think that's the root cause of the exposure problem.

My intention was to keep everything in focus, and the exposure was intentional. I tried a few different exposures and this was the one I preferred.

I'm not sure I have, as I'm usually not too happy with my own photography...
But now that you're asking, I might go look for some.

It could use some work. Your horizon is dead-centered (not recommended), the sky is pretty but very dull and yet takes up 1/2 of the frame. The cityline itself isn't terribly exciting, etc. There's nothing WRONG with it... it's just not that exciting of a picture.

This was the cropped version. I just brightened the foreground slightly this time. I thought perhaps the empty sky would give a better sense of scale to the bridge and the Cristo Rei monument.

Better. BTW, you have your profile flagged as your images are not OK to edit. I recommend turning that off. I was going to dive a little deeper into this and see what I could do to help, but that flag limits me. Some of the more experienced folks on this forum actually won't even comment on your image if that flag is turned on. Something to consider.
