Little bit of Florida history

First off, I screwed up like half of these. I thought I could rock the 24-105 f4L at 70mm f4 ISO 400 1/13th of a second handheld, yeah, whoops. Nothing faster than 40th second, so next time, I'll bring the tripod. Camera was 5D, I just brought these here to show off where I've been shooting lately.

This is a railroad bridge built in the 1880's, abandoned in 1945. The track was removed in 1976. Located in Osteen, FL. Not all of Florida is Mickey Mouse, old geezers and the Space Shuttle.

Looks cool, I'm not an authority on composition, exposure... so I'm not going there, but I like the shots. Were you able to get around to the other side of the tressels and shoot "down" the old track line or was that not possible? I think that might have been a cool shot through the woods.

Yeah I can get there but there's a lot of trees and foliage in the way and you can't really see anything.

I went through a few more and some are sharper so I got lucky on a couple. I have another photo of me wading through this creek with my 70-200 f4L dangling from my neck a few feet above the water.

I'm sure your lense wouldn't mind the dip...
