Long Exposure Shot of Los Angeles

My first ever try at long exposure photography. This is a view of the "valley" area of Los Angeles taken from Mulholland Drive. Shutter speed was 4 seconds, to compensate for the small aperture range of my lens.

C&C please... and yes, I realize that I desperately need a tripod!

looks good! yes you should get a tripod, they are pretty cheap, and they are really helpful for the long exposure shots

That's an awesome shot, 4 second shutter with no tripod isn't easy..

It looks good to me but then I'm on my laptop so its a little harder to tell.

I wouldn't recommend a cheap tripod. There is nothing like having a nice study one that will last you a long time.
