It's the camera you actually bother to take out to the pub that gets you the winning shot. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't carry £5,000 worth of equipment to the bar with my mates!

Horses for courses as we like to say! The camera you have mentioned is a great little PnS, but it ain't gonna give you 600mm at f4 shooting at 8fps. Sadly.

Thats true, i doubt I'd be willing to bring an expensive camera anywhere.

I think youre right though, its just added lenses you put over your permanent lense.

on the auction it says: "you choose wide angle lense or 2x telephoto"
which is better? im split on which one I want. in one hand I like scenery, but also wildlife. would I have to get an entirely different lense if I wanted macro?
