For several years I've been wanting to step up from our old point and shoot camera. I have some sky miles that I need to get rid of before they expire and I see two cameras that I can get. My options are:
Canon EOS Rebel T5 EF-S 18-55mm IS II Digital SLR Kit
Or
Sony SLT-A58K Digital SLR Kit with 18-55mm Zoom Lens, 20.1MP SLR Camera
I've been reading on both of them and they seem very close, so given my experience level of this being my first DSLR camera I imagine I can't really go wrong with either. But I'm curious what the recommendation would be from those with knowledge of these cameras?
Thanks for your time!
