I was taught that first you must really , really like your photgraphs and if one of them catches someone's else attention that's a big step !! so far you've done that. Back when I was at school, I learned that a photograph is composed by ; Asthetics + Narrative, we all first explore the asthetic and technical part then, the most difficult from my point of view is the narrative. I believe you've already pass the asthetic part now my very personal suggestion is to "polish" the narrative. Very neat work, keep like that ! ( I guess the car's photographs blew up the serie).

2 8 and 10 stand out in this set.
You could do some self filtering and narrow the set down to say 3 or 4 images and you would get more detailed critique.

Your images vindicate your blooming talent.... i liked many of these images.... smoke image is very pleasing; images of arrested actions are also superb

Regards :D

Your photographs are solid. There are too many to specifically comment on but one thing I might suggest is to work on your skateboard lighting to be a little more directional. The way I would do this is to use less fill light (or maybe even no fill light). This will create a more contrasty, more moody image. I'm thinking about #3 specifically... you have your key coming in from the left... what if the fill was gone?

Overall, quite a nice collection. Like Bazooka said, way too many to CC individually. 3 & 4 are outstanding in their own right both for composition and the story they convey. Skateboarding while the mill burns down is a eye catcher for sure, but the fill lighting from the left is a tad too strong. Number 9 is over exposed, and therefore washed out. Still a nice strong composition. Hopefully some post production will salvage it.

Too many for individual C&C but a lot of them you nailed on the head. Good Work

Thanks for all the comments when I post in the future I will narrow the photos to 2 or 3 photos. I found Aragorncito's comment the most interesting for sure http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/members/48998.htmlbut I still don't fully understand the Narrative part of the photo I think it's more of less to get the story of what was going on in the photo to the viewer. right?

The skating photos are pretty sick. Not a big fan of 9, 11 or 13. I checked out your flickr and the other shot of the guy tweaking the ollie through the sculpture i think is better than the one you posted, it makes the gap look tighter.

I like 10. It is a mature work, very nice.
