At the risk of boring you. While in Hong Kong we took a bus over to Macau using the new bridge/tunnel system. Macau is like the Las Vegas of the orient complete with remnants of it's Portuguese controlled past.
1. The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridgeis a 55-kilometre (34 mi) bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands.

3.Fortaleza do Monte was built between 1617 and 1626 on the 52 metres tall Mount Hill, located directly east of the Ruins of St. Paul's. It was constructed to protect the properties of the Jesuits (mainly Portuguese Jesuits) in Macau, especially from pirates.

I like #5's view of the old and new structures. How was the tunnel?

The mixture of the old and the new in Macau makes it really interesting. In the newer casino area you could be in Vegas complete with Eiffel Tower.
In relation to the tunnel it really didn't seem that we where in it that long. I think the bridge itself makes up the bulk of the journey.

If someone gets bored looking at pics they should find another hobby or hang out with Dexter. ;) I'm partial to #6.

love the trip you take us on.......... beautiful

Great pictures. It looks like a great adventure. Good for you!
