and to get a "real" HDR image you need 3 different exposures...a single exposure "pseudo" HDR is simply just one image being "tone mapped" thats all

Hahaha, thanks! I know what a real HDR is, I only just found out my camera has an HDR option, though I will try to do it manually too. You're right about the composition.. I would have like to gotten more of the bridge filling the picture, but I don't have a lens that can zoom that far. At least the haloing isn't as bad as my lighthouse!

yea crops work... or you could have try to get closer to the bridge as well

Ha, I was at the beach, the shore closest to the bridge If I had a boat then sure, but alas, I did not.
