Macro Flower shot

I really enjoy the colors and the composition. Its a very beautiful flower. Your shot lacks depth though. I would like to see the pollen stems (or whatever they are called) sharp as a tack, but the entire shot lacks clarity and focus. Did you use an actual macro lens for this shot?

I would have to agree. The stamen (i think that's what they are called) really are the focal point of the image, but are just out of focus.
