Making infrared photography only with RAW files?

Someone have a clue is it possible to fake well infrared photography only from raw files?

RAW in particular has little to do with helping you fake infrared.

The thing is, infrared colors do not actually correspond 1:1 with visible colors. In other words, some green things like leaves will be bright in infrared. Other green things will just be grayish/normal (like green paint).

RAW does not know the difference between green substances that produce their own heat from respiration versus green substances that are cold. Thus, no amount of precision in RAW is going to give you what you need to fake infrared automatically.

You would need to manually go in and individually select things that should be certain colors, for each photograph, using selection tools, etc. Requires a lot of labor and a solid knowledge of how infrared light works and what sorts of things would reflect or produce it the most.

How to get the infrared look using photoshop - Bing

Using ACR, or another Raw converter, use the HSL/Grayscale panel:
Put a check mark in the Convert to Grayscale box.
Slide the Blue slider all the way to the left (darkest setting), and all the other color sliders all the way to the right (lightest setting).
