Love it! Such a classic and yet very rarely seen sight! Capturing a "looking at you" like that is really outstanding - something that likely would have held that moment for only a split second before a minor movement would have obscured the eye.
She was like this for at least two days.
She's in an area where foot traffic is common, so she doesn't spook easily.
With the nest area being so small, when the eggs hatch, the little bobble heads should be easy to see.
If I can get out to see it (shelter in place I'm sure is coming) it should be fun.
Great shots! Love the first one. In the second a person can definitely tell the nest is shallow. In regards to shelter in place, so far we are allowed to go on solitary walks.
