I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, so I decided I would go with Nature & Wildlife. This is my newly married cousin's home in Connecticut. Before anyone says something, the sky is not blown out—there were very brightly lit clouds covering the entire sky.

Lovely rock work, and a nice setting. I think that might be called a salt box style house. Simple, strong, and roomy! I can almost feel the "summertime" in the shot!

But the sky is blown out. if you're losing detail in the leaves against the sky, the sky is blown out. There is a huge dynamic range difference between the gray clouds of the sky (overexposed) and the shadows of the leaves in the bushes (exposed correctly).

Not a super interesting location to me, I think you did justice with the photograph. The low perspective is a nice touch.
