Mardi Gras in Mamou

Everyone knows about Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but there is a tiny town in western Louisiana that still celebrates Mardi Gras the old fashion way. A bunch of drunk guys ride around town on horseback, collecting items for the Mardi Gras town gumbo. They collect everything from the rice to sausages, to the big thing, catching live chickens.
