I like the shot with the expanses, gives me a feeling of them walking out through the woods. You don't get that same feeling when cropped in, it becomes a background and not a strong part of the image.

I like the pulled out version better too I just wish people would put more thought into their clothing before going to take photos.... flip flips? really mom? and dirty pants and tennis shoes? sigh
