This is a shot I took 2021 at a monthly motorcyclists meeting in Melbourne (Victoria Australia).

I finally got around to processing the image today.

The venue is "Ron Barassi Senior Park".
The park is named in recognition of Ronald James Barassi Senior, who played as a rover for the Melbourne Football Club from 1936 to 1940.
His son, also Ron Barassi (affectionately known as "Brass Arse") was an outstanding Australian Rules footy player too.

Thanks for your kind comments UD...

I don't know who the guys off by themselves were,
but I do know the car is not the photographers.

The Versys 650 with the gear-sack on the back, helmet on the left mirror
up against the bridge support and partially obscured by the wheely bin
belongs to yours truly.

Self being a dork with the Versys.

The tube on the side isn't a 4x4/SUV seeking missile launcher;
it's where the tripod goes... good for fishing rods too.

When I was 17 my immediate superior, an outstanding Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
rode a DT 360 Yam. as his daily transport. He used to let me ride it... It was a sensational
2 stroke registerable (in Australia) Enduro bike... That was more than half a century
ago, but it seems like yesterday. He was a great bloke, one of those people that's impossible
not to love... as well as a brilliant Engineer. I need to change the subject before my face starts to leak.

I primarily use motorcycles to get around. I use the car if the roads are wet, I need to carry something too large for a bike or a damsel that's not comfortable on a bike... Interstate (big states in Australia) journeys are trying for most passengers on a motorcycle.

This is the unit I use for interstate trips:

Warm regards,

Alan.

Very nice shot. Night-time sure does make for some very pleasing shots. This probably would not have been a very nice daytime shot. Nice work.
