What's new

Dude, I don't know what you're thinking about, but the last thing I was thinking about when looking at that pic was a toilet.

:-)

I know, but the pose looks a bit like she's on the stool... wiping.

Not a really good moment to catch a girl in... no matter how good looking.

overexposure is sometimes underrated.
it works pretty well on that 1st photo.

Once you learn a rule, have fun smashing into pieces.

It works. Maybe most of the scene is overexposed from a neutral gray, but it's not entirely blown and it works in this context. You can still see details in the eye that's shadowed in, which draws me in.

Just because an exposure is considered over or under, doesn't mean it's a bad photo.

This was my intention with the post processing on this shot. The initial shot was exposed right on the spot. I exposed everything using a light meeter . as for the lightning i think i could have done a bit better exposing the bottom part of the picture.

I made sure i didnt lose any details on the model even if i did overexposed it in post. Some people might like it, some peole wont.

These a probably not the best shoot i took in this shoot, I still need to go trough the 400 shots we took that night. after reviewing the shots quickly. i spotted a tons a good one. ill post more later.

i dont really have any criticism but the first pic reminds me of ke$ha and the second pic feels like she got the urges haha.

please post more =P

The hand cut off doesnt bother me at all.

And when you justify why you attempted to create the photo that way, people say you're bad at taking criticism...

I like both. I like number one better because to me it seems more natural and I like the over exposure. Photo snobs on this forum I swear. :-)

I've looked at #1 several times since my first reply as I was undecided at the time.

Well done.

I enjoy both photos. they are beautiful girls which makes it easier. Their poses are great and i like the lighting/PP in the 1st one. The 2nd is my fav so keep up the good work man

I friend of mine wanted some picutres and i needed someone do more light test in the studio, so i told her to drop by. we shot for like 5 hours straight. I didnt go though all of the shots yet, i still need to sort them out but i came across these one and edited them quickly.

Any thoughts?

1 40X48 Softbox boomed directly in front of model.
1 Stripbox 18X48 camera right
1 Large reflector camera left.

This picture just doesn't work for me...the underside of both of her upper thighs looks blue, bruised, and dark. The shadows are inky and detail-less, especially around her face. Her skin tone appears, well "weird".
