This Ford GT's sister car came in third at the 24 Hrs of LeMans in GT

My favorite GT car. Unreal hearing this car hit the rev limiter when downshifted.

Best paint job I've ever seen. Is it anodized? GTC car. This is a Porsche spec class.

LMPC. All run spec motors and chassis.
The ALMS is some great racing with 4 classes on the track at once.

pretty darn good panning shots. i was doing some SCCA photos in my region while my car was down and i completely understand how hard it is to keep the car in focus. Judging by the background it appears you weren't working a terribly long shutter speed but they look pretty good. i am headed to the balitmore grand-prix to watch the ALMS and Indy race, cannot wait! VIR is out my back door but biggest race there is the Grand-Am Rolex.

Thank you. I was at 1/100 & 1/125 at f4 & 5.6. I was very crowded by a guy on my left swinging his lens about into my neck. I like to track the cars longer to gauge speed & use a slower shutter speed, but didn't have room. So I took the safe route, ha. Rolex & ALMS are my favorite races. I'll be back at Mid Ohio in Sept for the Rolex race. Hopefully I can get more of what I want. Take care & have fun at your race.

decent rule for panning is to set your shutter speed at the cars MPH.

car = 90mph
shutter = 1/90s

slow it down as you get the feel. sooooo hard to stay sharp though. again i likes!
