Hello Mr. Matthew Dowdy!

Glad you finally got off yer butt and took some shots! the last three are my favourites! Thanks for treating us to some black and white photos too!

I dig the pattern of you got from the parking spaces on the the third from the bottom, i like the play with the shadows.

I love the cross the best! Looks like you and terri been hanging out in the graveyards eh? spooky man

The ice one is really good too. Do you remember the f/stop from that one? The back ground is just a tad busy but i love the ice clusters. Maybe try to shoot from a different angle and get more of the sky in the background instead of trees? Or perhaps use a lower f/stop.

Good work! the 4th and 6th frames really stood out for me. The fourth frame has graphic industrial feel that I just love. I was immediately reminded of Charles Scheeler's work! The ice coating of the berries is captured well. Mother nature is also proud of that photo.

Matt: these are really nice. #s 4,5 and 6 are my personal faves of the group. #4 shows off some bold geometrical patterns that is very attractice - great eye! Keep up the good work my friend!

me also - #4 is this hardest-hitting.

i like 1,2,4 &6. the bleed-lines look good IMO.

I love B&W.. I am just getting into B&W stuff, have no samples I can show because I dont have a scanner and we cant get B&W on cd or internet at work so...no samples...but cant wait to try some more shots...that is if it ever warms up above freezing.....
