That cormorant thing is my pick. Very interesting looking bird.
 
The woodpecker shot is amazing. I love the flying one in the background. Perfect timing.

Close but that's actually an Anhinga. It's different in how it swims under water and spears it's prey with it's beak.

Ah, cool. Something else we don't get here. I assume it's of the same family/related as cormorants as the body, tail and drying method are very similar.
