He/She was watching me quite carefully but I think also had an eye on a mocker of the opposite sex...lot of that going on around here of late. I did manage to get within 20 feet for the shot.

He almost looks like he's stuffed and in a museum... not sure why... maybe they all look like that... probably because they don't want to be visible when they decide to start imitating lawn mowers at 4:00 AM right outside my @#$)(@$%)@ window.

When I was a little kid, one used to perch itself outside our window (we lived on the top floor of a two story house) and whistle the Lone Ranger theme. It was an absolute hoot. My dad tried to record it on one of the earlier reel to reel jobs, but the sound was terrible at best. They're good imitators to be sure...a lawn mower, eh? Aren't you glad it isn't an earth mover?

I followed this guy through this bush for the better part of 15 minutes until I had this clear shot. The vine placement, hey, dumb luck; the shot, hey, perserverance. I had to stay with the shot to get "lucky." I'm quite sure you've experienced this yourself a thousand times or two.
