My thoughts are that it is underexposed (or darkened too much in post-processing), slightly out of focus, and likely the white balance is off. I suggest reading through my short guide on lunar photography which folks here have used with success. It will give you guidelines on exposure (aperture, shutter speed, ISO).
alright ill read that and try again, thank you. I thought the darker moon looked better than the whiter ones i took, but i guess i should be looking for more white when i shoot the moon
