You still have patches of snow on the mountains? Wow.
And you got pretty close!
Amazing.
Now that Hekate has mentioned it, I'm wondering, too, if only a twig got entangled in his fur or what else it might be that's sticking out of the close one in 2?

Yeah we still have snow on our mtns but when you have 600 plus inches it takes a while longer to melt...lol.

And as for the mystery thing on the second moose she has a radio collar on her for tracking purposes. I was going to mention that in the first post but I guess I forgot. You can see it better on this photo
