It’s no different here than anywhere else. About to retire with 30 years in IT and it’s always been this way. Even in the days of dial up email and BBS. Just something we have to put up with.

May I say that "I think that you're being a bit harsh" ... people here do have lives to lead rather than sitting at the Admin keyboard 24 hrs a day just waiting to pounce upon someone's nasty message text

I think the fact that the spam =is= deleted quickly rather than being left there for 2 or 3 days is a credit to the team members who keep this forum going

It is a credit to the Admin/Mods that it's deleted rapidly, but the site owner/techs could certainly have done something to make such obvious spam dealt with automatically.
As it is I am learning not to visit in my morning browsing.
