Took this while on vacation in the Appalachians. I got up to shoot the sunrise every morning and made it back before the family was ready to go for the day. I was at 6000 ft here, same location for 3 mornings. One morning I had no visibility but the other two were just spectacular. I was very lucky. I only shot with a 80-400 lens and came away with literally hundreds of different compositions. It was also bitter cold. It’s always a challenge trying to deal with buttons, filters and tripods when your fingers are completely numb.
