Seattle is one of the most photogenic cities from the air I've ever flown over. Great view.

I was shooting from a balcony of a house just about Alki Beach.

Nice pano of the Olmpic Moutain range. I lived in Federal Way for a spell in the late 1980s.

We took the Victoria Clipper last year on that water.
Tried to get a few shots of the Olympias but the cloud cover was too thick.

You have to get a shot, when the weather clears. Which isn't often.

You could spend a month there, and not see all the great photo opportunities. Pioneer Square, International District, University of Washington, Pike's Market Fish Tossers, the Ferries, SODO...

All the times I've flown to Seattle, only once did I get a left window seat in reasonable weather.

And the Olympic Peninsula; amazing forests that look like a dinosaur might suddenly appear from the trees.
