Nice one Ed, I too feel the composition is a smidge awkward because of how the larger flower is hanging, did you consider flipping it to portrait orientation? I gave it a try and it feels much better to me, it may even do well with flipping it horizontally so it reads light to dark from left to right once in portrait instead of dark to light but I didn't try that, just a thought

I love the flowers, this works nicely in B&W. I might have tried a slightly different vantage point to change the background a little, to see where to have the lighter and dark areas.
