I went out this morning to give two pictures that I printed to the old man that I met a few days ago ... afterwards, I heard some music in the background. I thought that it was coming from the speakers, but it was an actual small festival thing going on with lots of retired people singing and dancing. That seems like a common theme in China :) The old folks over here receive joy simply by relaxing and enjoying the company of others which I don't see as much of in the US.

About the shooting process: First time shooting in any sort of public event, and it's kind of annoying and hectic. There's lots of people moving, clutter, and noise. People looked at me strangely when I was shooting. Any tips on shooting in this type of situation in the future? I tried to capture a few showing as many people as I could to show the companionship, but it seemed like those turned out like snapshots. ?? Only the closeups seemed decent to me.

Also, the baby picture ... it seems like from what I've seen, baby pictures are all about the light. Is it ideal to have soft light, or some other type? It seems like every baby picture that I've seen is very high key ... PP?
