What sort of music are you guys into? I'm am more interested in music that means something. I have really been getting into the poetic rap lately!

I will start off:

I recently found a guy with the stage name of "Astronautalis."

He does some indie stuff and puts some rap to a beat. This guy is a poet and rapper. His poetic ability is absolutely LEGENDARY.

Here is a stanza:

"I know her cane is just a comedy
Tin cup's a crutch for crippled honesty
Her slain perception's lame deception
What's astonishing, we bought it, see
Every Harry, Dick, and Tom, left her very fickle palms
Palming a broken promise ring, you follow me?"


I am talking about heavy rap that means something. Something that is just as poetic as it is critical, direct, and honest.
