Lol... Man-heavy.
Growing up I was never able to really have a normal bond with my blood family, however as an adult I have noticed how I seem to have become adopted into countless other families and created strong bonds with so many people throughout my traveling over the last few years. I never had a brother growing up, was scared of my step-dad and only got to see my biological dad every other weekend. Male influences just weren't very present to me. Perhaps this is why I am unafraid to embrace and love my femininity as a strength, and why I am so fascinated and moved by the vulnerable and soft side of men. Macho doesn't mean strength to me; being unafraid does, particularly being unafraid of who you are. Anyways, over the last couple of years I have developed bonds with a few good guys who make me proud to be a man. They are my brothers, and my fathers. We take care of each other. They love themselves and others unconditionally, and build me up and push me forward, never doubting me and always inspiring me, as I do the same for them. This is a very personal collection of (mostly) unposed portraits taken over the course of a year, during random adventures through the different places we've traveled to. I am proud to call these guys my brothers and my family; each one of them has had an immense influence on me, and the same can be said for how I have influenced them. I hope you don't mind the various editing styles and logo placements that my work has taken over the course of creating these photos. If you don't like the logos then I don't know what to tell you other than sorry...
My homies keep me in line, keep me from straying off the wayside. I keep their pores tingling and their tongues tied!
