What could I have done to make this better

#1 with get it centered and balanced, or get it far enough NOT centered and balanced that it doesn't look like it should have been.
#2 control the location - the stuff on the right is distracting, and I'd rather have moody sky especially for this fisheye composition. The boxes on the left are kinda in the way too.

Those two would improve the shot you took.

Now #3 is just my taste... but I think you need something besides "just a car"... somethign should be happening... a cat walking across the hood looking at the you, a face in the windshield or reflected in the headlights, or something else. when faced with something you could pretty much shoot any time any place, I try to find something new, different, or unexpected to add to it if at all possible.

I agree that the buildings on the right are distracting, and it is blown out on the left. I think it could have been offset just a bit more. You could just shoot from one side.

The issues for me are described above (except maybe the Mercedes comment ) and I have to add the reflection of the pole from the right looks like a huge scratch on the bonnet.

Thanks for all your thoughts, it's amazing what help this is, and yes u r right the reflection of the pole does look like a scratch, and as for the mercedes..... Well enougth said really haha .....

Get it up in the hills and reshoot on a twisty road, sorry only BMW i like has 2 wheels
