Photos NOT OK to edit
A client (and friend) of mine has been having me do several photoshoots with his Ferrari F40 over the past couple of months. Well, this past weekend, we finally did a photoshoot that we were both extremely happy with. We made an over-night trip out of it and went to the Bonneville Salt Flats to shoot. We also decided to shoot his Ford Raptor that we towed the trailer with (the F40 was in an enclosed trailer). The Salt Flats has been a location I've wanted to shoot at since I was a small child, I've always loved the atmosphere there. So far, this set has been getting tremendous reviews. I hope you guys enjoy the photos.

The cars are so tiny

Perhaps the client has a lot to say about them. Damn copywriters.

Nice work.

Really enjoy these. Guessing most or all were natural lighting?

It almost seems sacrilege to not have a rolling shot in the set, though. Being the flats and all...

Really nice work.

I feel like the use of the wide angle lost the very specific lines of the car and the car is VERY small in comparison to the background. Other than that well done! They are good looking pictures and obviously an amazing car!

Saw the last one on 500px last night. Very nice!

Agree with having the car take up more of the frame.

Did you get to drive it?!

These could work if they're blown up really large. like 20X30 large. Otherwise too much detail in the cars are lost. Would like to have seen more from below looking up. The best image being 2, which used that effect. Also, below looking up with a wide angle to use the wide angle distortion to your advantage to elongate the lines on the ferrari.

Very cool! I agree yet disagree with others, i think the car shouldn't be too close or too far, imho it seemed a tad too far, look at the sky! If there wasn't much interesting clouds or none at all then I'd get tremendously closer. It would have been cool if you used a fisheye just to try it, or maybe some cool panorama from whatever direction looks best but obviously closer to the car

Damn Art Directors, just won't listen to photographers. :P

Have to go with the car to small crowd. there still great images regardless and much better then you see by most, but for me my eye gets drawn to the background since it is covering 80% of the photo.

wonderful location, great light, great clouds, kudos for bringing a ladder. Wouldnt mind seeing the cars bigger, but if the clients happy = win.

I wish I had friends with F40s.....
