My main man Gavin

So Gavin's Mom and I used to sit right next to each other at work. When his Mom was pregnant with him, I was pregnant with my youngest....and we were due on the same day!!! (needless to say people tried to avoid our side of the office like the plague).

Anywho, he turns 3 this month and I made a trip out to his house to take some birthday pictures. We had a change of location the very last minute so not only were we outside in the bright sun but there was no shady spot to be found other than his front porch. Just had to make due. Tell me what you guys think and if you would have done anything different/better to deal with the harsh lighting situation

(side note, Gavin's one eye mainly looks squinty because of a dog attack)
