My review of the Nikon P7000

For those who were wondering whether to choose either the G12 or P7000, the choice is pretty clear. Unfortunately early reports of the slow user interface and auto focusing issues are indeed true.

I much preferred the G12 over the P7000 myself, and I'm a Nikon DSLR shooter. Nikon took the ball and dropped it in my opinion, the user interface is painfully laggy and the biggest issue for me was a lens 'cap' that wouldn't open all the way.

I have to agree with the auto focus issue, mine (P7000) was constantly not locking on and having to reset.
