My son and his new ball

We got Brandon a new ball and he loves it. He had a blast playing with it and this was his first time to play in the yard. He found the texture of the grass to be quite interesting.

Cute captures! Focus looks sharp. To me the most necessary critique is when composing be careful to not chop off little bits of head or arm or food here and there. :sillysmi:

Awww! He is so cute. I like the first where he first feels the texture of the grass. This mixture of curiosity and momentary "ugh!-what's-this?" in his face is so nice!

All in all I find them all too tightly cropped, but it is the face you will look at later, when you go through the albums, so there......

We find it is clearly spring now, but no one would as yet be able to be out and about in shorties only, barefoot and in short sleeves..................!

Thanks for the reply. I agree completely on the tight crop and while I'm not one to make excuses, this is due to the 50mm f1.8. I have a hard time getting back far enough (my own fault) to get the entire scene with this lens...but the quality of the lens keeps it on the camera....maybe a 35/2 or 30 f1.4 is in the future.

It got up to low 80's here yesterday and 70's today. Finally spring is here in my part of the world.

Teehee, and we think 59 to 60 F is pleasantly warm and very, very springlike.
