I never subscribe to threads. I had one person on my ignore list, but he was recently banned for the third or fourth time, and has not reappeared. Am i "missing out" by not subscribing to threads? Any thoughts on that?

I have 109 people on my ignore list.

That's the same for me on following threads. I don't think I have anyone on ignore anymore though. I'm pretty good at ignoring people on my own.

I only subscribe to threads that I want to reference in the future, or have good bits of info I want handy. So I don't subscribe to be notified of new posts, I subscribe to "save" the thread.

How do you subscribe to a thread? Does it show in your "settings" when you do? May I have automatically subscribed to threads I ever posted in? Am I subscribing to this thread by posting this now???
And I have NEVER so far put anyone on my ignore-list. (Must not... mind).

Well, I get irritated when people pull threads off target before the OP doesn't get a good answer or just get stupid in the same old ways and so, when either of those happens I unsubscribe.

I am not able to kill all the people who deserve it (it turns out that murder is illegal and some of them live a long way away also) and so I just block them so I don't have to read them ever. It's the height of passive-aggressiveness. My hope is that, eventually, one of them will be dying from an poison to which only I have the antidote and because they've been a boob, I have blocked them and thus won't hear their pleas for help.
I do hope that someone does tell me about this when it happends so my blocking won't have been in vain.

I think it is in your settings to auto-subscribe or you can manually subscribe using 'thread tools.'
