I know how. On joining TPF each member chooses their username by entering it.

Keith is correct, actually. To any lurkers out there who are thinking about signing up - a) we'd love to have you, and b) think carefully about choosing your user name!

It's a long-standing policy at TPF that we don't allow name changes to those who have high post counts and have been around for a number of years - too confusing for the general membership. We may make the occasional exception for very low post counts but, by and large, your user name stays with you while you're here. Thanks!
