Hello,
I took a picture a while back and now working on the post processing.
Around the edge of the rocks on the right hand side, there is a kind of blue line. Is there any way (easy way) to remove this, or sort it out? If so, how? And what is the proper term for it? :)

Thanks in advance :)

Looks like the Out-Of-Focus rock to me.... the sky and the rock are 'mixed together' with the edge of the rock being OOF. I suppose the proper term would be 'bokeh'.

Lightroom>Develop>Lens Corrections>Chromatic Aberration. Check the box and done.

It is not chromatic aberration, it's out of focus rocks. (i.e. sparky is right)

I think sparky could be right. Been playing with the chromatic aberration settings, and can't get it to work. I guess there isnt really any quick fix for this, is there?

You could try duplicating the layer in PS, then duplicate it again so you have 3 versions of the photo in layers. Cut out the rocks and leave them in the top layer, cut them out again including the blue bits on the middle layer and then darken the middle layer till it blends. Or there are a couple of other options too

I found a couple of YouTube videos on it a while ago, I'll try and find them again and post when I get a few minutes today.

Being that your focal point is the far island, I don't see why you're worried about it. It's not too bad. my eye's aren't drawn to it at all.

The trouble is that if you "fix" it then your picture looks wrong. Out of focus rocks, with a razor sharp edge? No. That's just going to look bizarre.

You have a very valid point :)

I guess it looks best left as it is then. Perhaps I'm being too critical
