Need help choosing right pc sync cable.

I can't find in the manuals of the Yn-622Ns, or the Yn-560III about which end fitting goes into their respected PC port. I need the sync cables because the Yn-622Ns doesn't' allow the flash to fully fit into the back of the soft box I have. Unless the light bleeding off doesn't matter, seems like it does but I could be wrong. The plan is to attach the receiver on the side with a rubber band or Velcro so the unit can fit inside.

If anybody know which cable to get for the YN-622N => Sb-910 and the YN-622n => YN-560III please let me know. I thought the Yongnuo products would have the same pc port, but that's not the case. I don't won't to buy the wrong cables.

Can't you just rotate the flash head 180 degrees and spin the whole unit around?


I'd still look for the right cord anyway just for backup.

I use the SC-29 with my sb700 or YN568EX on a flash bracket.
you can get cheaper ones, but the SC29 supports TTL, and has its own IR AF light.
I also use Yongnuo 622n triggers.

I think he's just looking for a short cord to synch the flash to the receiver so he can remove it from the hotshoe.
Not sure what the connection is on those triggers,but the Cactus is a mini 3.5 mm and those could be too.

I just dug out one of my yn622n triggers and noticed the 3.5mm port on the side.
if the sync cord for the 3.5mm plug is cheaper, that might be the way to go then.
I think the remote cord would do essentially the same thing if you connect it to the trigger and the flash. i may have to go test that theory since i have the equipment to do so. i wonder if you still get TTL if done that way...should, in theory.

may actually be what you were looking for...and a lot cheaper than then SC-29.

Thank you guys for the help. I would turn the flash head around as stated but I would have to keep removing the unit to adjust settings.
