Need opinions

This is a reflection of my dorm building at college. Something about this photo I really liked but want to know how it is from a technical aspect.

Hi Stranger,
While it's interesting with the building reflection, it also suffers from info overload. You have a lot of competing subjects here:
The wrapper,
The drainage pipes
The little wisps of leaves........

Maybe try again, this time watching out for possible distractions.

This proves out the adage of, "Move in on the shot until it is as close as you can get it. Then take another step forward." I think your shot was from standing on the drain pipes. Many distractions.

Close abraxas... with the way that water smelled i wouldnt dare get that close

This was shot from the street right above it and i would guess at the end of the 75mm.

I can appreciate that. Something to think about though: How far are you willing to go to get it to the best of your ability? With me, I always get home and look at the shot and think, "I should-a,..."

Makes for a better story too when you say, "And it stenched so bad that, oh man, here, check it out, I have the shirt in garage. You can whiff it yourself!"
