Need some help with forum settings

Can somebody help me with how to achieve the following;

Replying to a thread does not automatically subscribe me to it.

When you go to reply to a post, click "Go Advanced" and it will take you to a new page. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and there's a section called "Additonal Options." Subscription is the last one and requires you click in a box. Then you have options as to how you are notified.
