Need tips on product photography

How do I make the iPhone stand without seeing any supporting material? I have seen people use museum wax...is that one of the options?

You can use a piece of plexiglass and lay the iPhone on it...it will also make a nice reflection of the image.

You can use fishing wire to hang things, museum wax,...

You can also process it out in post production.
