New from Corpus Christi, TX

Hello everybody! I'm new to this forum and pretty new to photography. I talked my sister into letting me borrow her Nikon D50 about 8 months ago because it was just collecting dust, and I needed a camera for a trip to europe. And well, to make a long story short I still have the camera and I'm addicted to taking pictures! So I found this forum and thought I would join. I'm hoping everybody here can really help me expand my knowledge of photography. I'd like to gain a great understanding of cameras from a technical point of view I guess. Right now I'm just kinda "point and shoot". Anyway I posted a few of my favorite pictures I've taken below!
