Hello all,
Cut my teeth on Nikons in Vietnam. Bought a second hand F from another soldier, sold it, and bought it back, Still have it, still working, to this day. Carried it through the revolution in Santo Domingo as well. Looks like it was run over by aa car! F3 carried in Persian Gulf War and the civil unrest in Los Angeles 1992.
Did an apprenticeship with 2 different master photographers. Best training to be had. Use mainly digitals now with a D780 and a D3500. Man, have times changed. Also own several other brands including a very expensive German rig which I hardly ever use.
When I look through a lens I see with other eyes.
Favorite Nikon film camera? FM with MD-12 attached. Favorite digital? (don't giggle) D5000

Hello, Dave!,FM with MD-12, had one in college. Used it a lot..the FM was my first Nikon....I really like it. Own an F, a couple F2's, an F3 Hp, and FM-2, an N90 s, and four Nikon Digitals and a couple of Canon dslrs from the mid-2000s.welcome to TPF.
