Hey all.

I just got my first SLR a few days ago and got to finally take some shots today. Still learning all the features. I got a Nikon D5000.

Went to the dog park and took some pics. Few observations:

Dogs are not a good subject for just testing different settings and seeing how they affect the picture. They move around way too much.

Auto mode sucks balls.

15-55mm is really lacking in zoom. I want a 18-200 bad but its a good chunk of change...

Don't have all the pics uploaded online anywhere so I'll post the ones I put up on facebook and have urls for. Maybe tomorrow I'll post the rest.
