New lens came in today Nikon 14-24......

This shot was taken using 9 AEB 1 stops apart. The room was only lit by this corner cabinet. It was very hard to process for me as I am not good with really low light HDR. Perhaps there was not enough dynamic range to start out with. I had tons of masked layers and filters going on to get this look. I would like your feed back about this image. My new nikon 14-24mm 2.8 lens arrived today and this was the only thing I thought I would try it on for the day as it was late.

I'm usually a fan of your HDR images, but not in this case. The interior of the case is very, very busy between the items, and their reflections, and then there is the rooms reflections to deal with. Technically it works and you succeeded. Visually, IMHO you didn't.

Congrats! I think mines might be broken now, it takes very very very soft pictures. Does your Aperture lever spring back if you pull it down?

No worries Joel, I knew this was not an award winning photograph. I just was excited to test out the lens and what not and thought I would give it world very low light. I can't wait to really start shooting with this lens. It is very very wide and hopefully I will see the benefits with it as i hoped for. Thanks for your honest cc

Yes mine does spring back when I let go. It is brand new though. Good luck with yours. I will test mine later and see how sharp it is as they say it is.
