got me a decent condition 80-200mm 2.8 L off of an "ebay" recently for about $700. its my first decent length lens (longest my setup took me prior was 85mm) so i took her out the other day for a bit of a play, came back with these.

its good fun not having to get 3 feet away from something to get it to fill the frame, i just wish i had some more interesting birds than damn magpies to shoot haha

Saving up for the same lens. Like pics 6 and 7

Lens looks solid.

And dont ever say there isnt anything interesting to shoot. that just means you arnt looking through the right eyes!

I picked up the same lens for nikon recently and have been loving it. It is heavy and large but very nice overall. I love being able to stand further away from the subject but feeling so close when looking through the viewfinder. Nice shots.

I like your photos. Nice lens!

got out again for another walk, came across a small pond/lake thing that proved promising
