new lenses...a bargain??

Hi Guys, i'm from Australia and lenses are quite expensive here. I've found a US site which seems quite reasonable. Is $309.95 for a 24-85 USM, and $550 for a 70-200/ f4 good prices? (shipping is about $100 to Oz) Also what do you think of these for my only 2 lenses. I'm going travelling for a while and don't want too much luggage. They are for use with a canon 10d.

?? Do you think its worth upgrading to the 24-70/2.8 L USM (it sells for $1100)?

B&H has a good reputation, the prices should be fair.

I've used B&H and they are very reputable, IMO. I wouldn't touch a bargain price vendor - there's a reason for the bargain price and it's not a reason that benefits you if something's wrong with your purchase.
