Hello everyone.

I'm new to the world of dslr. I used to have a lumix fz28 but changed to a Canon 350d, a little old I know but is the best for the money I had, I have the 18-55mm kit lens and a tamron 70-300mm macro lens both with uv filters and I've got a monopod on the way.

Anyways, I'm looking for tips and advice for shooting race cars as ill be going to brands hatch in Kent (england) this weekend.
Hope someone can help.

Thanks
Mike

I would suggest going to a parking lot and start shooting some regular cars. Practice composition and exposure on cars there to get used to shooting for the race cars. If you plan on shooting them in action then go to a highway nearby and practice panning.

I was thinking about this, too, but try not to be too obvious about it. That might look a little...suspicious.
