What exactly are you looking for? Personally, I'm not a fan of the heavy vingetting on it.

Your eyes need to be checked if you're seeing that much purple! :greenpbl: Just messing with you. Nice first post! There's lots to learn from the folks on here.

I like Ellis Island a lot. But I don't care for the shipyard junk in the background. Unless you're taking pics of shipyards, they're not very attractive. You're taking the beauty away from Lady Liberty. I wish you would have focused more on her. Maybe a crop would work? Or a new composition from a different angle might look awesome.

Same here as Ronlane, i find the vignetting too heavy and the shining water at the bottom really distract my attention.
Otherwise it is a nice shot.
